sumair.. Posts: 23 Rating: (0)	ahmed.. I am making a project that is scada based...the plc whcih i m using is s7-300 with cpu 314-IFM... I wanted to extend my project as i wanted to make a wireless communication medium ...from plc to the personal computer on which i have made an hmi using wicc... Please guide me out that should this wireless communication be GSM based or GPRS based...which of the two can be handeled with more ease and in quick time... if gsm modem is used kindly guide how it can be done....and if gprs is easier, how can that be done... SSE Posts: 45 Rating: (8)	HelloSumair, Please observe your compatibility problem as possibility for your CPU to communicate via ethernet. CPU and ethernet router ER-75i are compatible if you are able to configure your CPU so that it will be supplied with ethernet communication module directly ( CP343-1 Lean for instance), or via S7 routing. The main point, I think, is can you configure your CPU Hope this will help
