Where to find update for TIA Portal V10.5 for SB 1231 1xAI TC?

ChrisSweden Posts: 12 Rating: (0)	I'm using a S7-1200 and added a SB 1231 1xAI TC (6ES7231-5QA30-0XB0) but I don't have it in the hardware library in TIA Portal V10.5. I have been looking for an update for that signal board for TIA Portal for about an hour and a half now, but I can't find it. If someone could post a link to the update file, I would greatly appreciate it! Thank you! /Chris

ChrisSweden Posts: 12 Rating: (0)	Thank you Hristo! So, in short, I have to buy Step 7 Basic for about 250 EUR, and Siemens Simatic S7 memory card 24 MB for about 300 EUR, correct? It's cheaper for me to send the signal board back and buy a separate thermo couple amplifier with 0-10 V output and hook up to one of the analog inputs of my CPU. Thank you Siemens!

Will see for the future, expectations are at least do not need a memory card... Of course the other statement is also true - with upgrade will receive another features too! You might contact your local Siemens applications engineers to see if they would allow you to borrow their MMC to do the firmware update. If they say yes, you get the upgrade and can use the new features and V11 SP2 and new hardware you want. If they say no, you are where you are now needing to spend money somewhere to get a good solution to the problem you are solving. My local Siemens applications engineer helped me out before with that type of problem.
