Which hardware to choose in Logosoft 8.2/8.3 with  6ED1052-1MD08-0BA1

Hi Guys

I have this device 6ED1052-1MD08-0BA1, so which hardware should I choose in the software 8.2 or 8.3 ?

I made a configuration with few AND gates +  relays with timers in order to keep outputs activated as long as pulses come into inputs, with some logik we need.

I did the configuration with Logosoft 8.2 using hardware LOGO ! 8.FS4 because I didn`t have the device yet, and ordered it later, and sent the conf.file to our installer with email. When our installer got the device and went onsite to assemble it, I told him to choose the correct hadware version in the software before uploading it to device 6ED1052-1MD08-0BA1.  Our installer got the software DVD same time with the device, it is version 8.3.

First problem was choosing the correct hardware from the software, and second problem was in connecting to the device. How can you be sure you are online with the device and to be sure the uploading was successfull ?  One support told me you should have the sofware upgraded into 8.31 in order to get the software to communicate with this 6ED1052-1MD08-0BA1. Sounds strange that you cannot use just 8.3 with 6ED1052-1MD08-0BA1 ???

Thanks for your support, I have been doing Logos for about 10 years, but only every now and then, total amount about 10 devices. So I kind of have to learn everything again everytime I start a new project. We use Logo when our security devices own logik is not enough.

So do I choose 08BA Standard for the hardware, in the software ? Those options are cryptic, if you compare them to the version printed on the device. Siemens can do complicated logics, but not clear names for versions to match each other :)

I will upgrade to 8.31.

I checked the LWE from YouTube. Nice, but I haven`t got time for those.
