Which model should I select?

I have DI 256, DO 128, AI 56, AO 56

I want to use S71200 series PLC. Which model i will select. CPU1215C or CPU 1217C

 Why you are using a S7-1200 system? You cannot accommodate such no of IOs in one S7-1200 CPU in one rack.Why don't you choose S7-300 series?

a 1200 is possible but it's easier to use a ET200SPCPU, e.g. 1512.

Then can you directly use all the ET200SP-modules.
