Please also see the attached screenshots. I have 2 Schmersal proximity sensors wired to 2 channels in a F-DI module (6ES7 326-1BK02-0AB0). Each of the proximity sensors has 2 switches and these are wired "to cross each other" in a way that I18.4 and I18.5 (duplicated for I18.6 and I18.7 for the other side5) both are activated when both sensors are activated and none of them are activated when no sensor are activated. Schmersal has issued a new version of the sensor (which they claim is identical to the old version except for using a better glue). The setup works without problems for 2 old version sensors and one new and one old version sensor. But when both sensors are new I get a signal fault on the F-DI module and even though the diodes for the two channels are activated on the F-DI module the signals are 0 in the PLC. The Diagnostic Buffer claims that there is either a short circuit or that there is a faulty power supply. Neither can be true since all is back in working order when one of the new version sensors are replaced with an old version sensor. Which setting(s) can I adjust (and how) to make it work with 2 new version sensors? Attachment18136D.zip (89 Downloads) |
