Which SINAMICS drive is suitable to replace SIMOVERT MC

Dear ArifinSabuz, as the SINAMICS system has a different system structure than SIMOVERT MASTERDRIVES, a 1:1 migration to SINAMICS is not possible This means that when it is replaced by the new SINAMICS system, a new configuration (application engineering) is required. The best approch is using the SIZER engineering software for Siemens drives. This software can be downloaded at no charge in the SIOS under entry ID: 54992004 . |

Hello, from the view of the application you should know what functionality is used. For example if you have used the basic positioner at MASTERDRIVES MC, the SINAMICS S120 (and G120 with CU250S-2) have it also. If a synchronism is required (print mark correction, cam´s, gearing, ...) you would have the F01 function activated at MASTERDRIVES MC. There you have different possibilities: - DCB synchronism inside SINAMICS S120: - S7-1500 (T) Best regards Zako |
