Which voltage can be used on the com terminal of an SM321

Gabriel_SJO Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Hello, i'm new programming PLCs, and i was wondering what voltage could be connected to the com terminal (pin 20) of the SM321 32DIxDC 24V. My question is could it be +24 VDC or -24VDC? I'm using it to monitor some variables from a switchgear... I appreciate any help, and like i said i'm on this so i don't know if thats just a silly question, but it's kind of a doubt i have.
