Yes, I got this information under Help in TIA V14, while I was going through each option to be set under Audit trail including its path.

And will check the working of this Archivelogfile function like whether the system message pops up if file transferred and is the 300s timer works and the difference between copy and Move functionality of the file and is the file being moved as CSV format or in Archived one.

And i even read that the CSV files are read only and using Hmilogchecktool can detect the tampering of CSV file, but it didn't work when I checked and plus the question if it is read only then why the need of Hmilogchecktool?

Audit Trail is archived mainly in a csv file with checksums for each row. The csv file is in general a text file where you can read the content and modify it. The Audit Trail csv file should only be read and not modified. If you modify the Audit Trail log the tool recognizes that there were changes and the archive therefor is not valid. The Audit Viewer provides the same functionality.
