Why QBAD from CH_AI?

Lotek Posts: 20 Rating: (1)	Hi guys, It has become frustrating. Values in underrange (decimal: -1 ... -4k) , same card, same settings, 1 channel doesn't have QBAD, 2 others do. Have no explanation from diagnostics or documentation. Bellow is what I've tried. Details and screenshots in the attachement (low res I see but you can still make out what I'm talking about). Have your say please. Btw, I forgot to mention, PCS7 6.1 It cannot be bypassed in software as QBAD=1 either sets on the output last valid value or the substitute value The wiring is ok; according to 530-792-I-XT-320 The HW parameters are OK. They are presented further in this document QBAD is not set by over/underload range. Other channels prove this The measuring range modules are correctly placed (checked in the panel) Polarity of the wiring is correct (checked in the panel) 7. Switched wiring between the channel with underload but no QBAD and the channel that had underload and QBAD. zerepegro Posts: 183 Rating: (8)	This value means 0x44Last Usable Value - Whatever was writing this value has stopped doing so. This is used for fail safe handling. So you should check the configuration of your driver block or hardware configuration.

Yer Posts: 86 Rating: (7)	In Fial safe use, it is normal nessesarely to reset after a QBAD. See parameter ACKN(ack ness.) 1 is needed a reset and 0 is no ask for a reset > signal still bad or normal situation. Second. After HW change > compile and download CFC. Yer

Lotek Posts: 20 Rating: (1)	Hi guys, Thanks for trying. The problem is still pending. Unfortunately it is not a fail safe block. 16#44 Last valid value it could also be 16#48 Substitute value depending of how I have the CH_AI set up. Regards

Lotek Posts: 20 Rating: (1)	Hi Zerepegro, I'm guessing it was me you wanted. MODE is 16#80000303 for all chennels on that module. For a VALUE of 16#F580 I have QBAD. For a VALUE of 16#FF58 I don't.
