why using line filters for SINAMICS DRIVES

putta Posts: 77 Rating: (1)	Dear sir, Why using Line filtter ( LINE FILTTER 6SL3000-0BE25-5DA0). what is the purpouse of line filtters please explain me brefily. we are using above mention MLFB SIEMENS 55kw line filter for my SINAMICS DIRVE.what is the work of the line filtters it is suppress the harmonics?. In conjunction with line reactors and a consistent EMC-compliant system configuration, line filters limit the conducted electromagnetic emissions generated by the Line Modules to the limit values according to EN 61800-3. line filter must be used to suppress interference in other loads. To prevent mutual interference, this line filter must not be equipped with line-side capacitors with respect to ground Check this PDF for details....
