will PLC go in stop mode

Paresh Posts: 116 Rating: (1)	Hi, I have connected 3 Siemens Profibus slaves with any Siemens PLC which is Profibus master. If I disconnect any slave within communicaiton then Bus Fail LED will be on. Will PLC will enter in stop mode in this case or PLC will still continue its execution? Thanks and Regards Paresh

In any case, you would find a lot of information on error OBs (OB 81 to 88, asynchronous error OBs, and OB 121 and 122, synchronous error OBs) in the System and Standard Function Blocks manual, installed in the Simatic Documentation folder when you installed Step 7; the Online help of Step 7 is also an excellent source of information on such issues. Thanks and Regards Paresh Hi Paresh, this problem was discussed here at least 1000 times. Search for "Profibus diagnostics" and "FC125 / FB125". You will find anything you need!

Importan is this OB exist into running program. More info you can "take" from following FAQ: Which organization blocks do you have to load into the CPU to ensure that the CPU does not go into the "STOP" status when a remote I/O fails?
