I have Logo7.1 and 6ED1-052-1cc01-0BA6. For re-programming under Windows 10 I understood I need Logo 8.1 or higher. Will this new Logo 8.1 be compatible with older units? And can the original Siemens connection cable be used?

I realize I am novice user, with simple question....

Thanks for you VERY quick answer!. The other problem is that I do have the 7.1 CD, but since I now have to change to a different pc with Windows 10 I do not have an installed 7.1. But I understood the upgrade also works when I have at least the original CD.

I have been able to download 8.3. However, not with the export functionallity.

You can download the demo program. When I follow the steps, and run the exe file, it does not ask for the location where the original cd is.

Am I doing something wrong? I tried 3 times, same result.

Or does this mean that I can write programs, but still have to buy the original new CD, although I do have an original 7.1 CD? In this case, upgrades are not possible. But probably I am doing something wrong........

Has anybody experienced this?

I reallize the demo is not a full programme.

What I want is an upgrade of 7.1 including the export function. And from the instructions you think it can be done from the upgrade center. But the only thing I can download seems to be the demo version.

Am I looking in the wrong place?
