Win CC Displaying Tags with Decimal Positions

How do I display an analog tag with decimal places (I’m trying to do this with the IO field)? The tag is an external tag with a process range of 0 to 4096 which has a tag range of 0 to 100.0% (the decimal point being important). The tag is defined as an unsigned integer, and I’ve used linear scaling in the tag properties; however, I am unable to enter a tag range which includes decimals (it always brings it back to integer values).

Do I have to range the tag as 0 to 1000 and somehow get the IO field to insert a decimal point in the screen display? If this is the case how do I get the IO field to impose a decimal point? Changing the output format property to 999.9 just adds a .0 to the end of the display which does not reflect the value of the tag (i.e. a ranging the process value to 4096 gives a displayed value of 1000.0 not 100.0 with the above conditions).
