Win CC flexible 2008 installation error

instruengineer Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Recently i formatted my Laptop and was installing Win cc flexible 2008. I have windows XP professional SP2. During the installation of microsoft SQL 2005 ( in the WIN CC DVD ), its informs me Installation aborted, Unknown MSI error code 69. Please help.

Sometimes you can bypass it by manually installing SQL Server (find it on WinCC installation DVD). Sometimes you just can't Also, you could try updating your WinXP to SP3. Even if automatic updates "don't" work, you can download SP3 freely from here:http://support.microsoft.com/kb/322389#tosp3 Best regards
