Win Server 2003 + WinCC 6.2 + PAS CC 6.0 = PROBLEM

Goodvin Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	Somebody had experience of use Windows Server 2003 SP1 together with WinCC 6.2.0.5 and PAS CC 6.0?The matter is that we have now started to use such configuration at once on three substations. And on all three there was a following problem. If at start of the project to choose AlarmLoggingRuntime at attempt to open the screen containing WinCCAlarmControl - the computer frozen. Restart of a computer helps only or, if to remove process CCAlgRTServer that RunTime will continue to work, but already certainly without messages.The same project excellently works under WinXP SP2+WinCC 6.2.0.5 + PAS CC 6.0.But at us the client-server the configuration and uses for server Windows XP we cannot.There can be somebody worked with such configuration – please help to understand this problem! Thanks!

As time absolutely is not present, have started to spend different experiments in attempts to find the reason of a mistake. Experiment №1 On the same computer (Rack PC IL43) the following configuration has been established: Windows Server 2003 SP1 eng + WinCC6.0 SP4 HF6 + PAS CC 6.0. New project WinCC has been created. Has been started SICAM PAS Wizard and communication with PAS is established. All worked is remarkable, including AlarmLogging, i.e. messages were formed and displayed normally.Then this project has been converted by means of Project Migrator in version 6.2 and started on a computer with a configuration (see a theme). Result - frozen PC by a call of the screen of messages. Experiment №2 According to acompatibility list, on same PC the following configuration has been installed: Windows Server 2003 SP2 eng + WinCC6.2 SP2 (+patch1) + PAS CC 6.0. The new project has been created and started. Result - frozen PC by a call of the screen of messages. As a result we have the following facts - workers are following configurations:WinXP SP2+WinCC 6.2 + PAS CC 6.0. and Windows Server 2003 SP1 eng + WinCC6.0 SP4 HF6 + PAS CC 6.0.There is a sensation, that the reason in teamwork Windows Server 2003 and MS SQL Server 2005, because other configurations (WinXP + SQL2005 or Win Server 2003 + SQL 2000 SP4) work perfectly. What does dear public think of it?
