WinAC RTX F Setup on Rack PC 547G

I All,

I've install the WinAC RTX 2010 F on a new IPC 547G.

At startup, the WinAC RTX F command panel show me this message:

-> You must disable the High precision event time in the BIOS.

Ok, All right, That's written in the documentation.

When I search the HPET in the bios: Nowhere...I cannot find and change this option.

No update of the bios founded.

as far i know the 547G have no setting for HPET (same on the Field PG M5).

Thats mean WinAc RTX F Can't run on this IPC?

It's very hard to understand the compatibility with WinAc RTX F products. 

I've noticed:

PackageswithWinCCRT Advanced,WinCCflexible,WinACRTX andWinACRTX F

These packages have been released together with the following SIMATICIPCs.

• SIMATIC Rack PC
  IPC547E / IPC547G
  IPC647C / IPC647D
  IPC847C / IPC847D
  IPC347E (not approved forWinACRTX (F))

Maybe avoid this problem?

have you looked in the BIOS in the Chipset Configuration, that here reall no HPET entry is available?

End of this topic, This IPC doesn't work with siemens plc based software.

The right choice is the 647D for entry level siemens pc based automation.

Everybody can transform the IPC347D or IPC547G basic configuration and more to TwinCat 2 or 3 Runtime with Ethercat bus.

This choice about rackable pc installation requirement...

To finish, Realy close kind of PC configuration for Siemens plc based software... I think that is not very flexible (for a lot of reason, i agree). I'n't found efficient and clear documentation about the subjet...
