WinCC 6.0 SP2 problem. Alarm logging and tag loging not active on the client

vadrian Posts: 20 Rating: (0)	Hello I have migrated a WinCC project from V5.1 to V6.0 SP2. The project is "server-client" typ (1 server and 1 client). The server is running OK, but on the client computer I can't activate "alarm logging" and "tag logging" so I can't see on the client any alarm or trends. On the server computer I have W2003 SERVER operating system and on the clientWXP. Could anyone help me to solve this problem? Thank you.

Danielle Posts: 1275 Rating: (123)	Hi, For a client-server system, all communication and archiving happens on the server. That's why on a client project you don't have that option. You should create the server package on the server, then load it on the client... the alarms and tag archives and communication must be created on the server side, and when you load the server package, it will be available for the client as well.
