This happens for example when Sybase is deinstalled after deinstallation of WinCC V5.1 SP1/V5.1 SP2...." in your logfiles I seemissing Sybase 7. => my guess is, that you SQL-installation is corrupt. I fear, you already know my answer, if the FAQ mentioned above doesn´t bring improvements: 1) install windows again 2) install SQL 3) install..... Good luck, nemo
