WinCC 6.2 active alarms in alarm control

sonval Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Does anyone know if it's possible to display only active alarms in the alarm control? In one pageI wan't to see only active alarms, not if they are acknowledged or when they went out. I'm using WinCC 6.2

Jaapie Gold Member Joined: 1/17/2006 Last visit: 11/22/2024 Posts: 800 Rating: (63)	Hi Sonval, It is possible with the property MSGFilterSQL, just fill in a SQL query and it will select the specified alarms, like: CLASS IN(1, 4) AND TYPE IN(1, 2, 55) In your case it is like: CLASS IN(1, 3, 4) AND TYPE IN(1, 2, 37, 55) AND STATE IN(1, 2) Classes and types you can find in WinCC alarmlogging. Danielle Posts: 1275 Rating: (123)	Hi, You could try using the MsgFiletrSQL property in your alarm control object to filter out the other alarms, by checking their state. These are the possible state values 1 = messages that have come in 2 = messages that have gone out 3 = acknowledged messages 4 = locked messages 5 = unlocked messages 6 = messages that have come in and been acknowledged. 7 = messages that have come in and gone out 16 = messages acknowledged by the system 17 = emergency-acknowledged messages For further details on how to implement this, open WinCC help and check "Filter Criteria for Alarm Output" entry. For example on the General tab of the dialog box you can set/unset whether to show the lock llist or hit list (I have used both of these before and they work). under the Message Lists tab you can select the Selection button and it opens the Specifiy Selection dialog box where can can built the MSGFilterSQL property via this GUI (graphic userinterface). cabreytj

Ikkezelf Posts: 1084 Rating: (72)	Locking of alarm work, but when you then look into the database (using the enterprise manager) you will never see the state 5. Also not in the archive in wincc in runtime. That's wat I meant. The functionality works, the logging not.

(2) topic "message state" faq describes the status of a message! (there you can find the state incase of lock/unlock of a message) in wincc information system "Working with wincc > ANSI-C for creating Funbctions and Actions > ANSI-C functions descriptions > Appendix > Structure Definition > Structure definition MSG_RTDATA_STRUCT" ther you will find information about the status. I belevie there are some bugs too!!! MSG_STATE_LOCK (0x05) MSG_STATE_COMEGO (0x13)
