WinCC 6.2 : C0000005 ACCESS_VIOLATION error (DMCLIENT.DLL)

trigger Posts: 16 Rating: (1)	Hi all, When I try to run WinCC 6.2, PASSDBRT.EXE XREFS.EXE DMCLIENT.DLL SCRIPT.EXE give error messages and neither creating of a new project nor opening an existing one is impossible. April Posts: 1776 Rating: (95)	Hi, two possibilities to find out the problem - disconnect the pc from the domain - uninstall Wincc flexible and WinCC , install WinCC again

trigger Posts: 16 Rating: (1)	Hi, I found a 3rd solution. I am running WinCCv6.2 under virtual PC now. I uninstalled WInCC and try to reinstall but I was not successful with reinstalling. After a few tries, I am using Virtual PC now.

trigger Posts: 16 Rating: (1)	Hi Danielle, I uninstalled WinCC and SQL server. I didn't uninstall Flexible. Then I tried to reinstall WinCC v6.2 but my installation gave some error at the step the configuration of WInCC (do some arrangements in Windows firewall etc.and some places for WinCC). I dont remember the patch well. I think it was the version without any patch.
