WinCC 6.2 - DMEnumupdate cycles failed

NitinW Posts: 17 Rating: (2)	Dear Experts , I am working on client - server configuration using WinCC 6.2 If I configure server start picture as a start picture in client ,it goes to run time and works smoothly. But whenever I try to edit a picture in client I am getting "DMEnumupdate cycles failed , Error: Project not found/loaded,Code 19 " followed by "Kein laufendesProjektge funden ! " (may be in German) & "OLE-connection to CSApi invalid 1 :" See attachments. Then the WinCC is getting crashed and we need to restart the PC. After that the same project is not going to run time . If we click Activate icon , it loads everyting like Alarm/tag logging , graphic runtime .. but the start picture never turn up. We can observe from the Activate button that the proejct is in run time , but it is not showing the pictures. ( Activate button is getting Dimmmed and Deactivate is getting enabled) I am using MS Windows 2003 Server R2 on server m/c and Xp prof. on client m/c. Can you help me regarding this. I was willing to have some local pictures on client. N.B. WinCC 6.2 fails on Intel Dual processor computers , so they launched patch for that. I have observed that if I delete the server package from client then I can edit the pictures and can go to the Run time with the same pictures. Danielle Posts: 1275 Rating: (123)	Hi Nitin, I've seen your diagnose, and all I could find were license logs (you're on demo mode), and the pdlrt.exe error. About this "project not found" all I can think of is if you've copied this project from another computer / location, which could lead to write-protected files, or if you had created absolute paths and changed the project's location, these paths would be different... But I don't think that's the case, right? Best regards, Danielle

NitinW Posts: 17 Rating: (2)	Hi Danielle , Yes you are right on License ,, I havent installed themyet,, and then you are right on last sentence...("But I don't think that's the case, right?" ) . see,, I am making a new client project everytime ... Created Symbolic name of serverin PDLCache and dumped whole GraCSof server .. Even I have mapped hardisks with full rights , changed HOST and LMHOSTS files. When I create a clientproject without any PDL file,i.e. having just Server Package , it runs smooth.. I was thinking to give some additional screens for client ,, now dropped that Idea for time being. Thanks.. Will provide more detailssoon ,,going on long weekend,.. Regards Nitin
