WinCC 6.2 - Print TrendControl with trends information

Nene Posts: 35 Rating: (0)	Hi, I need to print a trend control graphic with all the trend information, "Display ruller" is enable, the information appears on the screen but is not printed. I've tried to change the layout for the default print job, but found nothing regarding this matter. Do anyone have a solution for this? (besides using "printscreen") Thanks in advance,

Nene Posts: 35 Rating: (0)	Hello Cumu, I have several trend control graphics, all with "Display Ruler" and the correspondent trend information window below the trend control. What I need is to print all that (Trend Control and Trend Information window). Otherwise the end user will not know what trends were in the graphic once looking at the printed page. When I use the default printjob it only prints the trend control graphic (I think it's because the trend information is displayed in another window). I've tried to change de layout for that printjob in order to include the trend information, but found nothing regarding it (in the layout designer I've found no object to print it). The obvious solution I’ve come up with, is to printscreen the area (with a C function called upon a "mouse action" in a button outside the trend control) where the graphic and trend information are. But this takes some time, plus, if anyone changes the position of the window or call another picture before the printscreen is finished the printed page will not be what we want to. Besides that, I have to change the background color to white before printscreen and change it back to the original color in order to be able to see the trends when printed. I think it’s a little awkward that there is no way to print the trend information with a printjob. I hope this information is clear enough, Thanks in advance,

tonymyatt Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	I had the exact same problem. The only solution I came up with was to use the CSV-Provider.Trend control instead of the Online Trend Control. This introduces it own problem because the trend title is shown but not the Axis Label where I usually display the trend units. I now put both the trend name and units in the pen title and use the csv trend provider.

I'm not sure about the version of WinCC needed to support such functionality, but what we would have got to do is: Open WinCC \ Report Designer \ Layouts \ English \ @Online Trend Control - Picture_ENU.RPL Copy-paste and arrange object WinCC Control Runtime Printprovider.Picture The bigger object would be the Trend itself. In it's Properties window go to "Connect \ Properties" option, be sure that option WinCC RulerControl is disabled there and also decide which Trend elements you don't want to print ^{(Toolbar, Status Bar, Scroll Bar, Background Color)} The smaller object would be the Ruler. Check the Properties – option WinCC RulerControl should be enabled and decide as for the other printing options. In the attachment you would find a Tutorial Printscreen and the @Online Trend Control - Picture_ENU.RPL itself as the resultant of the solution. Good luck!
