WinCC 6.2 SP2 Configuration Tool with Excel 2003

jayr Member Joined: 5/12/2008 Last visit: 4/26/2023 Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	I have used the WinCC configuration Tool in the past with success but now I am trying to use with 6.2 SP2 and Excel 2003. When I try and Create Project Folder whether an existing project or new, I get the following error several times: Microsoft Visual Basic Compile Error in hidden module: CReadProgressDlg And at the end a Run-Time error. Does anyone have an idea what might be wrong? Thanks, Jay

It is necessary to deinstall it, sometimes reinstall the configuration tool. It is work in WinCC V7 and I suppose the same problemis in WinCC V6.2For WinCC V7 Siemens released the SP1 which repair this problem. For WinCC V6.2 I have no information about some service kit. In Excel 2007 ---> Add-Ins--->WinCC--->Create project Folder---> Establis Connection to Existing Project--->I Browser the Project--->Complete Then am getting Error 1St Error Msg :Compile Error in Hidden Module: CReadPrgressDlg (I pressed OK) 2nd Error Msg :Compile Error in Hidden Module: CReadPrgressDlg (I pressed OK) 2nd Error Msg:Run-time error '440'. automation error Thats It.

paramo Posts: 9 Rating: (1)	hi You install wincc6.2 again and install configuration tool also.Otherwise manually you will go the excel toolbar and inside customize option enable the wincc.Install conifguration tool .Wincc 6.2 with excel 2003 is compatible. BY paramesh.
