Wincc 6+sp4 raw data tag

Hi! I think you can do this:

Read: Raw Data Tag ---> C-Action (Spread Data) ---> Various Internal Tags

Write:Various Internal Tags ---> C-Action (Merge Data) ---> Raw Data Tag

...and use the internal tags in the I/OFields.

Hi! Actually I realized that we don't need the internal tas. Just follow this:

1. Create the Raw Data Tag "PrTs_TestTag" (size 10 bytes);

2. Include these functions at your project:

BOOL BsGe_SetRawByte(char* TagName, short Size, short Offset, unsigned char Value)
{
unsigned char RawData[32767];

GetTagRaw(TagName, RawData, Size);
RawData[Offset] = Value;
return SetTagRaw(TagName, RawData, Size);
}

unsigned char BsGe_GetRawByte(char* TagName, short Size, short Offset)
{
unsigned char RawData[32767];

GetTagRaw(TagName, RawData, Size);
return RawData[Offset];
}

3. Use these functions in the IO/Fields like those in the ".Pdl" attached


P.S. (1) - Of course you can change the raw tag nameand size.They're both parameters of the functions, you'll have to change them in the IO/Field's calls.

P.S. (2) - This functions expect that the Raw area in the controller's memory are bytes. If you want to use Words and Floats we'll need to create the functions like:

BsGe_SetRawWord(...
BsGe_GetRawWord(...

BsGe_SetRawFloat(...
BsGe_GetRawFloat(...

And so on...

Hi all,

First of all thanks to DimiCamp for the scripts which is actuall works well for my current situation.

Currently am working in this Raw data tag to export more data into Wincc.for that i have used method from an application sample.After that from this post i solved reading and writing the datas into same Raw data tag.

i have another issue now. I want to move datas from logic into the Array of DB which is configured as Raw data tag.When i do that the datas actually moved into Array elements but the same is not displaying in SCADA. I have already used global script to export that particular element of Raw data to internal Tag. If i succeed this way i can combine more datas into Raw data and i can reduce the Power Tag count in my project.

Actual situation is if i write the same Element of the Raw data to DB from SCADA,that time the Datas are Showing in Internal tag and also displaying in RT. but if i move from simulation or from some other logics it is not showing in Runtime..

can anyone please help me solve this??

Am working with Step7 5.5 sp4 and Wincc 7.3
