WinCC 7.0, " Insufficient Permission"

Hi everyone,

I am using Simatic Wincc 7.0, the problem is I am getting " Insufficient Permission" Dialog box when i logged on.

What would be the reason for that? and i am not be able to correct it since 2 months please help me to sort out this.

This is the c action script i have written to a Button event

Your script is not correct but I paste it on WinCC 7.3 Update 5 without error. So, your error is not because of the parameter...

According the documentation, PASSLoginDialog is to be use when the 'Basic Process Control' option is installed. There is not much clear explication about this function...

Anyway, you should better use the scripts here to login or logout.

Your script is not correct because the login dialog is not modal. You can't test the result after calling this dialog. The script will not wait that the dialog close to continue... Try with the function printf to see trace in a diagnostic picture.

A better way is to have a button to login, and then use the property 'Password Level' of an other button to enable or disable the button which will open the pdl.
