mi3hoja Posts: 13 Rating: (0)	Hi Does anyone now how to pick up an alarm text (if its possible) i a VB script in WinCC Adv? I want tomake a script that generates an text file (new line with the alarm text foreach discrete alarm), I will use this to exoprt to a separate program for alarm sending. Even better, does anyone have this scriptalready?? /Jacob

In WinCC Advanced/Comfort you can use the Alarm Archive to store the Alarmevents into Textfiles automatically. You cannot get the Alarmtext if a Alarmevent occurs. There ist no interface to get these information. You can use Textvariables or Textlists with the Alarmmessagetext an construct a parallel Alarm Handling but this ist a lot of work. I recomend also to use the Alarm Archive. Greetings Murof
