Hello!

In the WinCC Advanced RT screen I need to create a drop down list which should be filled with the data from SQL DB table (products list). The drop-down list should be updated every time when screen is opened. The selected option from the drop list would be used in the sql request to another sql table.

I know how to read data from the SQL DB table and put it into tags. But how to put this read information into the drop-down list.

Could someone suggest me any solution for this problem?

for this you may use dynamic text lists and connect them to an symbolic IO field.

As far as I remember, it is possible to change the content of the lists, but not their length.
So, the number of elements is fixed to a maximum.
Changing of the dropdown list's length, because of changing available data, is not possible I think.
