When using a project stored in a shared folder of an VMware workstation 15.5 I cannot simulate or start a runtime of an WinCC advanced project. 

Also I'm experiencing issues when computer goes to sleep mode. Tia Portal loses connection to project saved to a shared folder, I cannot save it anymore. Sometimes overwriting with save as works, but not always. If I save it locally to VM it works fine, but I would not like todo that I use like 10 VMs and would like to use same folder for all my projects.

I would contact VMware, but for me this is a Siemens only issue, so ill ask here first.

do you use the shared folders as network drive inside the vm or only the shared folder from vm feature?
