Hello Simone Of course you have to get sure that the network connection can be established from your Tablet with the Smart Client App to the Advanced RT System. Hey, yes it works like a vpn Connection. You only need the Sm@rtClient App on your iPad and the iPad must be in the same Network as your PC with RT Advanced. I have already used it.
