WinCC Advanced to WinCC Professional

The option you have is to copy the images, variables, etc. and then adapt when compiling the errors. In the end, this is not just a system change but also a concept change and there is no tool or way to do it directly. Best regards!

Murof Platinum Expert Joined: 8/3/2009 Last visit: 4/25/2025 Posts: 15355 Rating: (1895)	Hello AutoGen_3843954 The way of programming in WinCC Professional (which is like WinCC V7/8) is totally different to WinCC comfort/Advanced (which is based on WinCC flexible). Yes the engineering system is the same but the result are different RT systems. every data you can copy paste like tags, alarms, textlist and some basic screen items will work but in the screens you will make things different in WinCC Prof as in WinCC advnaced. Also you have to make new every faceplate (different types) so there is no automatism bye Murof
