WinCC Advanced V12 SP1 Instalation-> ERROR with DCOM on Windows 7 profesional

Sebastian C Advanced Member Joined: 7/29/2013 Last visit: 11/25/2024 Posts: 53 Rating: (1)	Hi everybody, I´ m having an error when installing the WinCC Advanced V12 developmental software in a computer with Windows 7 profetional and 64 bits. This error says that the installation it won´t be posible because the OS configuration is not compatible with the setup execution and i have to change the DCOM configuration. TomDeWou Platinum Member Joined: 11/15/2006 Last visit: 1/20/2025 Posts: 1319 Rating: (176)	Press Win+R or start button and enter DCOMCNFG Open in the appearing window the path 'Component Services' > Computer and do a right mouse click on 'Workstation' then select properties. In tab 'Default settings' set the first flag, uncheck the second one and set 'Connect' and 'identify' in the drop down boxes.
