WinCC Alarm Acknowledgement

Import-User-1 Posts: 3609 Rating: (28)	Import of a Technical Question of an User AVSR Hi Experts, I am using Win cc Ver 6.2, I have created a tag for alarm to displayed into alarm page in runtime. I am simulating from Simulator to tigger the bit. The alarm appears in the alarm page, but the alrm vanishes when I acknowledge the alarm even though the alarm bit is high in PLC. How to avoid this. Unless otherwise the bit is low, the alarm shouldn't goes from the alarm page. Can anybody help me. Thanks in advance.

When i start up wincc i alway's get the negative edge triggerred allarms (Fire CO2 and LEL) Normally i can get rid of any alarm by acknowledging it but these just seem to be stuck even though we can clearly see in the PLC that the status of the bit is 1 and that allarm shouldn't be there in the first place. Even the status lights show all green. Most likely this has to do with wincc startup and having all tags set to 0, wich is no problem for me as long as i can get rid of the alarm message wich i am able to do with acknolegding any normal alarm wich isn't present anymore but these seem to stick for wich ever reason. Anyone got any thoughts?

Z-tech Posts: 13 Rating: (0)	Ty for the information, that was a big help. Why the messages persist is found out too, seems the alarmbits are in fact 0 ( so fire = true ) This explains a lot. Seems i have to poke the PLC guy to fix this . Greetz and mary christmas dhr. Ritsma
