Dear Mike, (or anyone who can help) I am experiencing a problem with WINCC Alarm list. Following is an explanation of the issue: When we activate the Runtime, it connects to SICAM PAS PQS server without any problem. The Event List works correctly and it is updated with any changes on all points. But Alarm list is always empty. In SICAM PAS, for the alarm points, the “Alarm logging” checkbox is enabled in addition to “Tag Management” (attached screenshot), however when we change the alarm point to ON or OFF states, the Alarm List remains empty as before (snapshot 2). We do all the necessary steps to import tag information by using SICAM PAS Wizard (it finishes with no error and/or warnings). The Alarm List itself shows correct number of the Pending Messages at its status bar. This amount is increased with any incoming alarm. A snapshot of Alarm logging menu is provided (Snapshot3). Highlighted Alarm is the alarm which we are testing. We also assigned the alarm point to a graphical object (in the same page where alarm list component is added), and in runtime the object changes, while the alarm list again remains empty. Another problem which may help to find the problem is related to the WinCC performance. Generally it is very slow and hangs a lot during opening/closing a project or activating/deactivating Runtime. Hence, we need to end it by Task Manager or restart Windows frequently. We think this corrupts Archive files in ArchiveManager folder, so that sometimes there is no such a folder in the project directory. We have followed the instructions provided in https://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/llisapi.dll/24707635?func=ll&objId=24707635&objAction=csView&nodeid0=10805587&lang=en&siteid=cseus&aktprim=0&extranet=standard&viewreg=WW&load=treecontent#A27534945 (What do you do if alarms are not displayed at Runtime?) but no success yet (however the server data was disabled in single user mode which we are using). I’m wondering whether we are missing any steps. Generally, following steps were taken: Created WinCC file, Added new driver (SICAM PAS Protocol Suite) in tag management, In SICAM PAS Wizard created new station, Import/updated PXD (selected all three functions), Set channel unit to PAS Dataserver, Set location connection the Station, Imported graphic object lib/text lib/alarm system), In tag management we checked the tags to be correctly imported, in Alarm logging we checked that alarms are added, in graphic designer designed a picture(as start pic), added SICAM SCC ALARM LIST from Porject library->Alarm Logging Tempaltes->WinCC V7.X, Used default settings, activated runtime. System info: WinCC Runtime V7.0 + SP3 +Upd1 K7.0.3.1 SICAM PAS PQS V7.01 HF1 (07.01.06.995) Database version: 9.00 OS on Server and HMI side: Windows XP Professional SP3 We also tried to install the PAS CC / WIN CC on other systems and alarm list has worked once in one system but we couldn’t find out for what reason it stopped working. I would be very grateful if anyone can guide me what to do to fix this issue. Thanks Artin AttachmentAlarm Logging.zip (961 Downloads) |
