WinCC Alarm Logging Run Time

Duds Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	I have an S7 Version 5.2, with WinCC version 5.1, Office 2000, all works well except when I activate 'Alarm Logging Run Time'. When starting from the WinCC package in Run Time it starts up to about 75% alarm logging then deactivates the package. What have I forgotten to mload?

Duds Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	I am using Microsoft XP, Yes I have most of Siemens proucts including Drive software etc. This problem also exists with a client who has Simatic S7 version 5.3.1 I need to advise client as to correct method of installation, as I seem to have same problem. No this macine has never been able to uase the Alarm Logging RT feature

Danielle Posts: 1275 Rating: (123)	Hi, You should check the compatibility for WinCC v5.x here. As you can see in both this link and the ones Nemo and Ikkezelf posted, v5.x is not compatible with Step 7 v5.3 SP 1, and if you have Step 7 v5.2with no SPyou must use WinCC v5.1 HF0.
