WINCC ALARM POPUP

For example, if I am on a different screen, and if there's an alarm, we should get an alarm banner at the top. How do I achieve this in WinCC unified? I have done this in comfort HMI , by placing a screen in global screen , if there's alarm , popup will appear. Now i am not able to see global screen as well ?

I don't now, if this fits exactly your requirements, but I would recommend you the "Unified Tutorial Center". Go to "WinCC Unified Functions" > "Alarming". eMTe Advanced Member Joined: 2/27/2008 Last visit: 1/16/2025 Posts: 22 Rating: (3)	Hi Patil, as neither a global screen nor a alarm window are currently available for WinCC Unified systems, you have to find an alternative solution, e.g. als follows: - create a screen containing an alarm control and set height and width to suitable size, this will be the screen for your alarm window - put a screen window (containing your alarm window screen) in your background picture and dynamize its visibility by an internal boolean hmi tag - go to "Scheduled tasks" (you'll find it in the project tree) and add a new task - set the task trigger to "alarms" and the criterion e.g. for "Alarm state Equal to Incoming" (you can set the criterions more differentiated if you want to..) - add a SetTagValue-Function at the Update-Trigger and choose the tag which is controlling the visibility of your screen window (containing the alarm window screen, you know..) and set it (the tag) to "true" As soon as a message comes, the picture window becomes visible. Make sure that the tag which is controlling the visibility of the screen window ist set to "false" when you close the screen window. Use the change trigger of the of the screen window visibility property for this. wish you succes, eMTe
