Wincc and MP277 over Industrial Ethernet

john Enthu Posts: 69 Rating: (0)	Dear Sir, I have CPU315-2DP with MP277 and Wincc V6.0. i have connected CPU and MP277 over MPI. I want to connect the MP277 with Wincc V6.0 over Ethernet. Can i connect it? If yes, then what is the steps i need to follow to establish the connection. After getting this connection, i want to access each tags of MP277 at WINCC Station. Please, suggest me the solution.

Another way is to usea OPC connection between the MP277 and WinCC PC. The MP277 can work as OPC XML Server and WinCC can work as OPC DA Client. Additionally you need an OPC XML-Gateway on the WinCC PC which converts the data of the OPC DA Client to the OPC XML Server.
