Hello Everyone, Could someone give me some hints where the problem is?? I have WinCC6+ConnectivityPack+WinXP EN PRO in local komputer and in VirtualPC TMS system (trafic control management system under WinXp EN PRO and MySQL database it is not MS SQL2k) To get a values from MySQL Im trying to use "ADO.NET DRIVER for MySQL(Connector/NET)" get from http://www.mysql.com/products/connector/ but I have some problems. In normal way to get some data from WinCCSQL we can use VB and connection like "Provider=WinCCOLEDBProvider.1;Catalog=DBinRT;Data Source=CompName\WinCC" then SQLquery like "Tag:R....." or "AlarmView" it is simple because ProviderName is registered by instalation of WinCC (i think it is). But to get a proper ProviderName for MySQL Idont know how. So my question is for All : can someone give some clue/hint how to get it. Reards Mariusz |

Hi, Your question is on MYSQL and not on WinCC. Maybe its better to post it at MYSQL Forum. http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.1/en/connecting-disconnecting.html Best regards April |
