Dear all, I will describe my system first for you : I have three groups of WAGO remote I/O. · Type of gate (750-833 ) · Type of I/O ( 750-402 ) Also I used Siemens converter which it will convert from ProfiBus to Ethernet, then I will use 3 converters to convert three groups to Ethernet. I used also WAGO switch · Type of Converter ( 6GK1 411-5AB00 ) · Type of switch ( 758-500 ) My Question is how I can make WINCC connected with WAGO to operate I/Os signals? I found there is a lot of types of communication drivers at WINCC I was search about Brofi net but I didn’t found it, but then I found OPC server so I searched at WAGO about it then I found (OPC-Server Modbus/TCP ) but I think it wouldn’t work because its TCP protocol not Brofibus so can anyone help me please. You will found picture for the whole system Finally thanks AttachmentFire alarms.zip (272 Downloads) |

This is a common problem that I find in understanding ethernet communication. Ethernet is not a communication protocol.Even if you talk about TCP/IP here, normally you will have someprotocol over TCP/IP, such asModbus/TCP. In this casethe converter is a gateway from Profibus DP to Profinet IO.Now from you PC side, it is a Profinet IO communication. So you can use Softnet for Profinet IOwith WinCC as OPC Client.

Dear sir, If I used the OPC client (Softnet) as you told me with Gate ways of WAGO without using any CPU from Siemens, then when I open wincc flixeble 2004 can I find tags of WAGO directly in WINCC as appeared in the attached picture . Finally thank you AttachmentWAGO hardware.zip (290 Downloads) |
