Wincc and PLC Omron

guileser Experienced Member Joined: 12/2/2008 Last visit: 3/7/2025 Posts: 107 Rating: (2)	Hi everybody, Well, What my client wants is to use Wincc V6.2 SP2 to show some data of the production with a Omron PLC. I pressume in order that I be able to stablish a comunitacion between Wincc and Omron Plc I would need an OPC. which one?,I have never used an OPC and this is my first time and I have many doubts. - Perhaps, a Siemens OPC Server can do that or may be CX-OPC from Omron. Althought I have been reading on internet and there are many OPC from other companies,may be these OPC can also stablish this communication. Thanks in advanced guileser

You need to decide what OPC-Server you will use with Omron PLC. Google around what are your options for Omron OPC-Server connectivity. Dec
