WINCC AND RUSSIAN LANGUAGE

FABIO66 Posts: 34 Rating: (0)	Hi friend's, i have already post a similar question but, with the answer received, i don't know how to do for insert a text in russian. I work with XP in italian, and i have intalled a russian language. I have already a excel sheet witha text translated in russian language and is possible to read in cyrillic. If i copy a text from a excel, and paste , for example int a wincc statict text, a series of "?????" appeared. If i try to do the same into a text libriry all is ok I have try to use a EASY LANGUAGE, but don't work. Is possible to export a text, but if i try to import, only italian language is selectable. Can You help me? THANK YOU

Goodvin Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	In text library all ок because there for Russian column the font with support of cyrillics is set. 1. Establish for a text field a font with support of cyrillics. 2. Start \Settings \Control Panel \Regional and laguage Options \Advanced - set language for non-Unicode programs - Russian. If has not helped, then: 3. Install MUI Pack for WinXP support of Russian GoodLuck!

Lev Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hi! I strongly recommend you to install WinCC localization pack for Russia (available from Siemens Moscow) and after that translate the project exactly as described in WinCC manuals. If there are any problems you may contact WinCC tech support (see wincc.ru) Good luck! Lev.

After that I added Russian words into my project using last added language. It is really funny to be able to add letters in Cyrillic even though I can not add in Russian language. Regards, tekhakko
