Greetings Bizur responding to your first question, I carried out an observation of the record of use of the CPU with the task manager when executing the WinCC with the DAP active and surprisingly the use is minimum (with very brief picks), there is not overload of the CPU; regarding the second question, I use the DAP to try to accelerate anyone of my discharges because I don't have a lot of band width. [schnippschnapp] new question is splitted to why I cannot consent to the configuration of the CCAgent for the way that siemens suggests ?. best regards |

I have exact the same error "AP Connect failed , Error: The script control was not started." since last friday. It happened after doing some changes with the Configuration Tool. At first, everything looked fine after starting my project. After stopping the project and opening Graphics Designer, I get this warning several times. Also on stopping RT, it hangs now on "Deactivating - CC_Project_Date" Script Server at 69%... The "AP Connect failed"-message toggles several times with another Error-window "The system cannot find the file specified"... Other projects on the same PC work fine. Duplicates of this project on another PC give the same error-windows, so I'm pretty sure Configuration Tool (or me) messed things up between the WinCC-project & SQL ? If someone knows more things to try, please let me know. Thanks in advance. |

I followed instructions found on this forum somewhere about changing "Structure Types" with the Configuration Tool. It might be possible that I did some changes while my project was in Runtime, so that might have caused some issues. script.exe & global script process are both running At the moment, I'm working with a backup from a few hours before these issues started cause I guess I would lose too much time trying to solve the damaged project. |

I edited an existing Structure Type (adding extra elements) but it looked like changes in Excel were directly written to WinCC (without my confirmation). This, together with my fault that the project Runtime was activated at the same time, lead to this error. thanks for replying :) |

Strange, after creating a new project, it also happens here. Seems like "script.exe" is killed at the same time, only message in log-files is:

that's not got!!! When script.exe really crashes and there is no logfile about it. Are you sure, that the process closes itself? If yes, you should install and configure the Microsoft Userdump tool for an automatic dump of the script.exe Download the tool here. Find detailed description here. If the error occurs again and a dumpfile is created you can be sure, that script.exe is crashing. For analysing the dumpfile you have to contac technical support. They will find out, what causes the crash. |

Followed User Mode Process Dumper as described but no dump... Still script.exe disappears. |
