djaguila Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hi, Im working with WinCC and I need to archive tags and show it via web. What is the correct software? I was reading about Storage plus, Do I need PCS7 for it? Thank you. ------------ Ok what I need is to archive long therm variables, make reports and put it on web. Im working with WinCC v6.2 I was reading about WinCC dat@ monitor... someone allready worked with it? Thank you

JMJ Posts: 487 Rating: (45)	It is not clear what version of WinCC you are using. Are you using teleperm? Or is it just Simatic PLC with WinCC? Also it is not clear if you want to view the Archive data in a trend/tablein webor export the data out to a database. Anyway, have a look at WinCC/Webnavigator option. Ates Posts: 198 Rating: (17)	you dont need pcs7 for storage plus. it can store high amount of data and show from its viewer. It works on iis. So basicly you should able to see datas from outside via internet explorer or something. But i remember that i had some problem about it. As i remember its a very painfull product.

It used to store long archive term on different support like magneto optical disk, CD, DVD and so on. You can also retrive after time and analize data, but only locally (only on storage Plus station and not over other station). Anyway JMJ did a good question: what do you really need? Archive long term data, or view historical data on thw WinCC Server via Web? In 2nd case you need WebNavigator instead Storage Plus. Regards
