venkat_2210 Posts: 12 Rating: (0)	Dear sir, We achieved the S7 Software redundancy with two CPU315-2DP, Now we are in need to achieve the automatic switchover in WINCC. We read the manual supplied with Software redundancy CD. We done all the aspects described in that manual. We want to know that, 1. How many driver connections we want to made? (I have two S7 PLC) 2. In which connection I create my external tags. Regards, Arunkumar

Eastern Posts: 557 Rating: (64)	hi you required only one driver connection. you can create any one connection from both plc for external tags. when you run the script for connection change that time you have to give anaother connection detail......after running the script you will see the anaother connection...... regards

After this I generate xdb file. This file I import in Station Configuration and In WinCC I create new Named Connection. Everythink workautomatically and perfect. Jaromir
