I want to know if its possible to simulate a HMI panel (movements,on-off lights,...) without actuali having the panel. So basicaly i want the simulation of the panel to comunicate with a real PLC. I wan the simulation to read the inputs of the PLC and then respond to them as a movement or something like that. I have instaled TIA11 SP2 with winCC basic (only for programing panels). I know it is possible to simulate only the panel but i dont know if it is posible to connect the real inputs of the PLC and the simulated panel.

I added the panel and put a on-off switch in it. With the switch i want to set Q0.5. But when i try and click on the switch something on the screen apears that says:value could not be written to the PLC. I attached some pictures of my problem. I would realy appreciate if you could have a look at the picture and tell me what i am doing wrong.
