Hi All. We need to add some simple visualization and process parameters logging (stored to the SQL database) to existing project based on S7 CPU-315. We plan to use IPC627D with Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and WinCC Runtime professional v13. I've checked "Delivery Release WinCC V13 SP2" (https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/document/109746073/delivery-release-wincc-v13-sp2?dti=0&lc=en-WW), and there is confusing remark: "SIMATIC NET V14 SP1 must be installed for the communication with S7-devices". Why SIMATIC NET V14 must be installed for WinCC V13? Do we need to buy/install SIMATIC NET separately, or it's included in WinCC package? Is "Simatic WinCC Runtime Professional WinCC V13 license" will be enough, or we'll need to buy additional Simatic NET licenses? Thank you in advance for answers and help. |

Hello christiphD look at this: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/de/en/view/109743673 so if there is a Lean License in it, then there are upt to 8 Connections available. And of course you need a Simatic Net Installation that WinCC Professional could run the communication Connections. It is the same as in WinCC Classic V7.X the simatic Net is not on the WinCC Prof DVD, its only in the Package. Bye Murof |
