Hello Banxico; Thank you very much for that file, for me at least it wakes a lot of interest. Now, for your main question: can you use the CP 343-1 with MLFB 6FL4 343-1CX... and the software drivers for Bacnet in your S7-300 system? Well, probably, but can you get your hands on one at this time? I can't find out much more information from the different Siemens websites I have access to. The 6FL4... part numbers are not supported by the A&D division, which hosts this forum and provides you with most of the hardware and software you use in your projects. [Note: Actually the 6FL4 214 is available now on the A&D Mall, and refers to the HVAC Easy Select authorization licences provided by the Siemens Building Technologies division (and clearly marked as only available in Germany for the time being on that site)]. But on the SBT division site there is no reference to your part number, nor to a Bacnet CP 343-1 interface... This is starting to get tiresome. The next step, if I were in your shoes, would be to contact the project manager for Infrastructure Automation, Mr. Geo Kunzmann (geo.kunzmann@siemens.com) as shown on the back page of your pdf, and ask him some fundamental questions, such as: -Is the module released as of today? -Is there a restricted distribution of this Bacnet library/module at this time? -Can you purchase one of the CPs along with the Bacnet library for S7-300? -Is there any limitation in the functionalities of Bacnet when using this module? - and of course pricing and deliverability information. Good luck, and if you pursue this issue, we would really appreciate some feedback on your part. Regards, Daniel Chartier )Good uck, |
