Wincc Client Redundancy

mehrdad.a Posts: 39 Rating: (0)	hi i have 2 client & a engineering with 16 plc's (s7400),the network is Ring,I dont have any server, So the problem is that how can clients be redundancy? when operator Ack alarm in OP1 ,have to do Ack that alarm in Alarm logging of OP2 client. so what adjustment i have to do taht ,client can be redundancy? do i need extra lisence or package for wincc client redundancy? is it necessary that i use windows 2003 server for this main? thanks

Are you using WinCC or WinCC flexible (because you talked of OP - Operator Panels) If you have WinCC Clientswhere is your WinCC server , is your ES your WinCC server? There is only WinCC redundancy for 2 WinCC single stations /2 WinCC server - NOT for clients. nemo

mehrdad.a Posts: 39 Rating: (0)	Hi network is consist of : 2 operator station (with wincc RC) with part number:6AV6381-1BH06-0CX0 & engineerng station (with wincc RT) ,there is no other PC in my network can i run clients that work redundant? (Event in OP1 get register in user archive of OP2?) thanks
