WinCC Comfort grouping elements into an object with dynamic tag (Citect genie system)

John25 Posts: 12 Rating: (0)	Hi all, We have to do a project in WinCC comfort (TIA version) for a TP1200 panel. We have little to no experience with the software so i was wondering: is there some sort of similar funcionality as genies and supergenies in Citect? Let's say i have different elements (buttons, text, numbers,...) that belong to a motor: - var_status: a status of the motor off/on (e.g. to color the motor green) - var_switch: a switch to start / stop the motor (that has to be manipulated by the operator) - var_alarm: some other things (alarms,...) (e.g. to color the motor red) - var_speed setpoint and measured -... In Citect, you can group all these different elements into a genie/supergenie and make all the tag bindings (the ones that will be assigned to plc variables) "variable" or "dynamic". This means that when you paste the motor genie, you just have to assign the plc variables in a form that pops-up and your motor is complete. You do not need to go to each element and assign all the plc variables there. Is someone familiar with this concept in Citect (i assume this concept is used in many scada software) and is this possible in WinCC Comfort? Many thanks for any help.
