WinCC Comfort with PLCSimAdvance

Wayse2 Joined: 11/24/2022 Last visit: 4/22/2025 Posts: 30 Rating: (0)	Hello Everyone, I have an issue integrating TP900 Wincc Comfort ( TIA v17) into our Simulation setup . Our Simulation setup is as following. PC 1 Running PLCSimAdvance Multi Adapter for instance#1 ( has WinCC unified HMI) PC 2 Running PLCSimAdvance Multi Adapter for instance#2 (has WinCC Comfort TP900 HMI) instance#1 has a WinCC unifed HMI which is available to Simulate on the PC2. The problem : instance#2 has TP900HMI on Wincc Comfort which we are able to simulate only on the PLCSim (Locally) but not through the PLCSimAdvance in the mentioned setup. We need to keep the PLCSimAdvance setup the same and Run the TP900 simulation. How would that be possible. Thanks in Adavnce.

Murof Platinum Expert Joined: 8/3/2009 Last visit: 4/17/2025 Posts: 15311 Rating: (1894)	Hello Wayse2 the basic FAQ: LINK In the HMI project you have a HMI connection in the connection editor. this has a logical access point (usually its S7ONLINE but you could also use another one). In teh PGPC interface you have to set the used Access point to an internal communication (PLCSim) or to a networkcard to get access to a real PLC or to a PLC Sim Advanced on another PC. You could also run multible Accesspoints in PGPC interface parallel. Bye Murof
