WinCC Configuration Tool

henno2000 Posts: 177 Rating: (0)	Hi, I am wanting to extract data from my project to a CSV file. From the way I have read it, it appears that the Configuration Tool has the ability to perform this operation. To test my theory I installed the tool on a Client machine, but was unable to extract any data. Does the tool perform the operation that I require it for? If so, does it have to be run on the server machine? Regards, henno2000

The first option (excel to wincc) can be done with the configuration tool. The second NOT. You need something like connectivity pack or write something in VB yourself. with regards, Ikkezelf

Danielle Posts: 1275 Rating: (123)	Hi henno, Configuration Tool allows you to export configuration data from WinCC to Excel... If you need to extract runtime data you'll need another tool (Connectivity Pack, IndustrialDataBridge, script...) Best regards, Danielle
